Civico N°1 (house number 1) is the name of the 'hospitality in Ricettività Diffusa' in the municipality of Roccalbegna. An innovative 'Made in Italy' type of accommodation that, by reopening the doors of unused houses to visitors, follows and supports the lifestyle in the historic centers of Roccalbegna and its hamlets Vallerona and Cana.

Originally used as a stable, the apartment has been completely renovated like the adjacent houses, creating a delightful space with every comfort. The apartment is located on one floor, accessible by climbing a few steps, and has a bedroom with panoramic views of the surrounding hills and countryside, a bathroom and a kitchenette. It is an ideal solution for a single person or a couple looking for tranquility and a countryside atmosphere.

In the village there are grocery stores, a social club and center, La Cisterna, and in the period from May to October Da-Noi-A-Cana is open, a lively restaurant and pizzeria with panoramic terrace and local cuisine. Also open seasonally is the wine bar and art gallery Le Nozze di Cana, offering excellent selections of wines accompanied by typical sliced meats and cheeses, seasonal cold dishes served in an atypical setting.

The medieval town has a fortified historic center contained by imposing walls and a panoramic terrace. In Piazza del Popolo stands the sixteenth-century well Cisterna Medicea, used as a source for water collection up until the last century. Inside the rural church of Renaissance origin, the Madonna del Conforto, one can admire the sixteenth-century painting of the Virgin of Comfort, whose celebrations take place on the first Sunday of September.
