CASTELLO DI CABBIAVOLI
Guesthouses
in Castelfiorentino
Traces of ancient cultures fill every corner of the Tuscan landscape, and Castello di Cabbiavoli is a shining example.
The castle dates from 1210 when Caput Aulae (its Latin name) was built by the Counts of Alberti as the centre of the court of Val d'Elsa, and is situated about 30 Km from Florence.
Following meticulous restoration by the Puccioni family, the castle is a treasure trove of original features that have been lovingly brought back to their former glory with the careful restoration of centuries-old frescoes, family crests and vaulted ceilings to bring to life the enchanting grandeur of the rich historical past of this region blend with the modern facilities.
The Villa can accommodate 12 people and is within easy reach of Florence, San Gimignano, Siena, Pisa and Lucca for those who want to explore the beautiful surroundings.
