Village Camping "Il Fontino" is situated in one of the most exclusive and charming regions of Tuscany: the Maremma. From the terraces of the camping site you can overlook the splendid bay of the Gulf of Follonica. You'll find Il Fontino on a stone's throw of Punta Ala and the magnificient beaches of Cala Martina and Cala Violina, the most beautiful beach of Italy, right in the middle of the green Tuscan countryside. The camping site is located in the middle of an area which is rich in nature, arts, history and culture. It has about 200 beautiful, spacious pitches. Thanks to the spacious layout, the good organization and the shade of the old olive trees, it's a great and peaceful place to stay. Village Camping “Il Fontino” (“The little spring”) owes its name to a pair of abundant drinking-water springs, which make sure that this camping site is the only one in this area that's able to provide for its own drinking-water supply. Absolutely worthwhile is the outstanding restaurant, with a large dining-room and a wonderful patio and upstairs terrace, with a view to the fortress of Scarlino and the ample Gulf of Follonica. The atmosphere is warm and pleasant and thanks to the excellent cuisine you can get to know the delicius flavours of the Maremma. You won't be surprised to hear that this is the pride of the camping site! Camping Village Il Fontino offers you not only camping pitches, but also bungalows. These spacious chalets were recently built and are located in green of the countryside. The bungalows are provided with all kinds of comfort and offer space to 4 to 6 persons, in a quiet corner from which you can enjoy the enchanting landscape. Facilities in the bungalow include: satellite television, a blow-drier, a private bathroom with a shower and a toilet, and a spacious veranda where you can sit and relax.
