LA TERRA

Surrounded by vineyards , olive groves and orchards , La Terra is located in the rolling hills of the Val di Chiana, on the border between Tuscany and Umbria.    The old farmhouse and a large landscaped garden is an oasis of calm where spend a holiday that can be different every day, thanks to the many opportunities that our location offers .   You can choose between a walk in the woods or a trip to the nearby cities of art (Siena , Arezzo , Florence and Perugia) or between Etruscan and Renaissance ( Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza) . You can relax in the nearby hot springs of Bagno Vignoni and Chianciano or water sports on Lake Trasimeno.   And when you return home , there is always a good glass of wine waiting for you, to enjoy near the pool while admiring a spectacular sunset .   We welcome you in a typical Tuscan farmhouse in red brick in which we live. The structure , in its earliest form , was already present in the land Leopoldino the 700 . Restored at different times has kept the original features and has been our care to furnish every room in the tradition and with a bit of originality.   The farm is composed of two apartments and a large room, all independent, and a small "restaurant" . All this is handled with ease , expertise and passion by Ilaria and Pierpaolo , but with the occasional help of expert Gina grandmother in the kitchen.   Here you will find a family atmosphere and you will be at the center of our attention . If you have children , small or large , you will find everything you might need (bed, chair , attention in the kitchen ... ) and something more like the games of wood or of society and a rich selection of books result of experience Ilaria in the publishing world for children.  And if you need anything ... just knock on our door and we will do our best to help !
