PALAZZO PRETORIO HOMES
Holiday homes
in Vicopisano
A recently restored apartment in the unique setting of Palazzo Pretorio, built in the 12th century and the seat of the Medici's Vicars after the florentine conquest. Leonardo lived in the palace while he was drawing the maps of the Arno. The view from the bedroom is breathtaking: it is the perfect place to enjoy the Tower and its walkway, designed by Brunelleschi. Just take a glance through the kitchen's window and you will be surrounded by the Vicar's coat of arms in the courtyard.
The apartment is inside the defense structure designed by Brunelleschi, specifically, in the Palazzo Pretorio, in which the Museum and the Historical Archive are located. Is one of the very few residential buildings on the top of the hill: this strategical position has given us a unique panoramic view.
The apartment has been furnished and decorated in a modern functional style. There is air conditioning in both the kitchen/living room and the bedroom. The bathroom and the kitchen are brand new, as well as all the furniture. During the restoration of the apartment we have taken into account the building's history without forgetting the comfort, usefullness and energy optimization.
Due to its strategic position, the area has traffic restriction to non-residents, so we strongly recommend you to avoid using your vehicle in this zone. We kindly ask you to contact us before your arrival and we will help you with your bags and we will give you all the tips you would need to an unforgettable holiday.
