PODERE GROTTA ANTICA

Nestled in the heart of the Val di Chiana near Chiusi is Podere Grotta Antica, with a beautifully restored 17th-century farmhouse, an outbuilding and an ancient cave. 

Podere Grotta Antica's 3 elegant rooms feature wood-beamed ceilings, brick vaults and terracotta floors. 

The walls, painted in natural colors, are a perfect match for the vintage Tuscan furnishings and objects from the country life of yesteryear. 

The old barn has also been expertly renovated and is now a splendid apartment with kitchen, fireplace, bedroom with king-size bed, air conditioning, smart TV and private outdoor space in which to enjoy meals or relax while enjoying the excellent view of the Tuscan hills. 

Guests have a large garden at their disposal, with a gazebo to enjoy breakfast on fine days or in the beautiful garden-view dining room in case of rain, a sun terrace equipped with sun loungers, a barbecue area and wide green spaces to relax with long walks in contact with unspoiled Nature.

At Podere Grotta Antica breakfast, buffet or continental, features the products of Tuscan excellence, from homemade cakes and cookies to excellent cold cuts and cheeses and offerings from small local producers, to live an unforgettable experience for the palate as well.

It is possible to arrange, upon request, tastings of Tuscan cured meats, cheeses and wines, grilling in our barbecue and cooking classes.
