PODERE VECCHIA COMMENDA

In the evocative magic of the Maremma countryside, at the foot of the medieval village of Massa Marittima, the Podere Vecchia Commenda is located, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, recently and completely renovated by a young family who lives there and who decided to leave the city to live and raise their children in a quiet dimension in full contact with nature and close to the sea. Despite being surrounded by the beautiful nature of the place, the farm is not isolated and is strategically well connected to the main communication routes.

The 3 apartments (2 two-roomed and one three-roomed) with which the farm is equipped overlook the countryside and in their spacious verandas you can eat, relax, or simply admire the sunset and the beautiful panorama, for example after a beautiful day at the beach, or after a visit to the pretty villages of the area. The apartments are spacious, comfortable, equipped with everything you need and furnished with the utmost care, have well-equipped kitchens, bright living areas, elegant bedrooms, lovely bathrooms. All the rooms are cool without the need for air conditioning and have, among other things, bed linen and towels, dishes and a vast and detailed kitchen equipment, satellite TV, microwave, kettle, vacuum cleaner, hairdryer and small courtesy equipment.

The farm is a few minutes by car from Massa Marittima, which you can also reach on foot with a nice walk (a bit uphill!). The surrounding area boasts numerous outdoor itineraries to discover, especially by bike and on foot. For those who love the sea, a few kilometers by car from the Pod. Vecchia Commenda are some of the most beautiful seaside resorts on the coast, such as Follonica (20 km), Torre Mozza, Punta Ala, while for those who love to discover the inland nearby are delightful towns such as Rocca Tederighi (25 km), Montemassi, Suvereto, the Abbey of San Galgano (31 km).
