Palazzo Pio III has been recently restored and it is located in Tuscany, in the heart of the historic center of Sarteano (Siena), in between stunning Valdorcia and lively Valdichiana. Our Palazzo stands out for having been the birthplace of Pope Pius III (Francesco Todeschini Piccolomini, 1439-1503). It is located a few steps away from the city main square and it welcomes you with an enchanting travertine portal carved in bas-relief with floral motifs and the crests of the Piccolomini-Todeschini family.

We are two brothers born and raised in Sarteano and we’re proud to be part of this little passionate community. We have not a past as hoteliers, but decided to start this adventure to explore something new that could put to good use our innate skillsof creativity and empathy.
