Centurioni Palace is an historical building located in the heart of Castiglione della Pescaia, just inside the walls that enclose the medieval hamlet.
The Palace was built during the Renaissance, and it consists of an imposing construction with a rectangular plan and a façade entirely covered by plaster and decorated with characteristic ashlars - typical of Tuscan architecture - located around the windows and the large central doorway.
Each architectural element blends harmoniously with the others, respecting the artistic order and balance of parts that is typical of the Renaissance.
Centurioni Palace, at the time of its construction, used to host the Florentine Podestà and it was the center of the town’s administrative life.
Today the palace is used to host various exhibitions and cultural events open to the public.
