A small Romanesque church in Casciana Terme Lari

The Church of Santi Quirico e Giulitta is a nice stop to include in your visit to the village of Parlascio in the territory of Casciana Terme Lari. This quaint church in Romanesque-Pisan style bears a typical gabled facade, a central portal surmounted by a window, along with a wrought-iron cross on the right side. The interior consists of a rectangular layout with single nave.

Restorations over the years have unearthed significant frescoes including The Holy Face by Bartolomeo da Ceppato in the presbytery and the Madonna del Latte fresco on the right wall of the church.

Outside there are striking views of the Pisa hills.
