Adrenaline and relaxation for the whole family in the heart of Mount Amiata
Do you want to spend a day in the fresh air with your whole family? A little more than an hour from Siena, Arezzo and Grosseto, in the municipality of Castel del Piano, inside Le Macinaie Park, you will find the Indiana Park Amiata. Immersed in a dense and marvellous beech and spruce forest and at an altitude of 1,400 metres, this park offers various fun and informative activities for the whole family.
The park includes different acrobatic courses developed in height: two for younger visitors and five for teenagers and adults, each one made for participants to have an experience that is relevant to their abilities.
Both old and young people can enjoy themselves “between the ground and the air” in complete freedom while taking on: rope and wooden bridges, ropes, pulleys, gangways, swings, tunnels and much more. But the fun doesn’t stop here: climbing up a ladder that leads to a 12-metre-high platform, the more daring will get an adrenaline rush with the jump into the void Quick Jump. A few words of advice: pause for a moment to enjoy the view, take a deep breath and then jump, all in complete safety.
A good time is also assured for the non-adrenaline seekers who can grapple with a treasure hunt in the forest, following the various paths with the help of GPS or simply enjoying the views on foot or by bike.
