A neo-Gothic jewel in the heart of the village

The imposing Montieri Town Hall (Palazzo Comunale) stands majestically in the heart of the town and was designed and built by the able architect Lorenzo Porciatti in 1901, embodying the fervour of the era in classic neo-Gothic style, typical of the Grosseto area.

The building, erected on the foundations of the previous Palace of Justice, stands out for the slender pointed arches, the elegant double lancet and triple lancet windows adorning the façades and a small tower that blends harmoniously with the entire complex, culminating in a double pitched roof.

Today, the building is the headquarters of the municipal administration and the local tourist office.
