Particularly striking is the room where eleven marble statuettes representing saints, apostles and prophets are displayed, also from the cathedral, eight of which in white marble are attributable to the Sienese artist Gano di Fazio. At the back of the same rooms is a reconstruction of the crowning of the cathedral's facade, with three original sculptures attributed to Giovanni Pisano.
The collection also holds a beautiful Majesty by Ambrogio Lorenzetti, also known as the Majesty of Massa Marittima from around 1335. This grandiose painting, executed as an altarpiece for the Church of San Pietro all'Orto, was rediscovered in the late 19th century in the convent's cellars before being identified as a work by Lorenzetti thanks in part to indications provided by Vasari.
