In the elegant Villa Renatico Martini is the Museum of Contemporary and 20ᵗʰ Century Art, a place of art and culture.

The Museum of Contemporary and 20ᵗʰ Century Art (Mac,n) in Monsummano Terme is located in the Villa Renatico Martini. Built for Ferdinando Martini around 1887 and designed by architect Cesare Spighi, in accordance with the eclectic tastes of late 19ᵗʰ-century Tuscany, it is surrounded by a large park with imposing century-old trees.
After being purchased by the local government in 1981 and following a painstaking restoration, the Villa was opened to the public in 1988. In 2005 came a new reopening after further major retrofitting.

In the Ceramics Room and the Multipurpose Room, the museum displays part of Il Renatico Civic Collection, formed over the years thanks to donations from artists, their heirs or collectors.

Recognized as a Museum of Regional Significance, the Mac,n organizes various cultural events and temporary art exhibitions within its elegant spaces.
