The Poggio dei Medici Golf Club is located in Scarperia, a few kilometers north of the city of Florence.
It has hosted numerous international tournaments - 5 editions of the Ladies Italian Open, 1 stage of the Alps Tour and 3 stages of the European Challenge Tour - and is a course nestled among the Mugello hills and protected by the Apennines.
Designed by architect Alvise Rossi Fioravanti and by the player Baldovino Dassù according to USGA standards, it offers 18 holes, par 73 and ample practice space.
The Poggio dei Medici Golf Club was honored at the World Golf Awards as Italy's Best Golf Course nel 2016, Italy's Best Golf Course and Italy's Best Golf Hotel in 2017 and Italy's Best Golf Course in 2018.
