Pratoranieri is less than 5km from the centre of Follonica, and can be easily reached on foot and by bicycle with a stretch of pedestrianized coastal road and a cycle path. The narrow and long beach is made up of fine golden sand, in the perfect style of Follonian beaches. It's mostly free, only a small part is dedicated to bathing establishments where it's possible to rent water sports equipment.
