A big dream in a little tower: una notte alla Torre di Maiano

In the heart of the Romantic Park of the Queen, enclosed in the largest Botanic Garden in Europe, there is still a magical place, where the atmosphere takes you back, far in time. 

Here the stress and noise of the city are forgotten in the blink of an eye, enjoying a unique landscape, celebrated by artists and historical figures. There are many attractions hidden within it and just as many paths to follow. Staying overnight in the elegant Torre di Maiano luxury suite is the most exclusive experience to live in the park.

The ancient nineteenth-century tower in neo-Gothic style, which Sir John Temple Leader had built between 1870 and 1894, stands next to the Laghetto delle Colonne. The tower, with its wonderful features and fairy-tale appearance, remained for a long time an uninhabited, secret, hidden place, difficult to visit but an essential element in the visual panorama offered to visitors. It was in 2015 that from the fusion of intentions and the mix of visions of the architect Simone Micheli and Count Francesco Miari Fulcis "Big dream in a little tower" came to life; an ethical and intelligent project that aimed to restore the use of this secret place of meeting, transforming the tower into a magnificent, elegant, refined suite; a new concept of luxury.

Today the Tower is a Senior Suite for two people, with 4 floors, located in a unique context in terms of scenery and authenticity. It includes a kitchen on the ground floor, a living room on the first floor, a bedroom on the second floor and finally a Turkish bath on the top floor. Private outdoor area equipped with Jacuzzi. Access to the floors is only possible by climbing the steep spiral staircase in "pietra serena".
