A walk through the streets of the center of Prato to discover its history, the most important monuments, and the curiosities that distinguish it.
Starting from Piazza del Duomo, you will see works made by the protagonists of the Italian Renaissance such as Raphael who in Prato created the pulpit for the Church of Santo Stefano, the Cathedral of the city and an outstanding example of religious architecture. Inside the church, you will discover evocative Renaissance frescoes and the most important relic of the city, the Sacred Belt.
Continuing the walk, in Piazza del Bacchino, with its ancient palaces, you will find the lively soul of the town with its shops and pubs.
In the end, you also visit the Church of Santa Maria delle Carceri and the Emperor's Castle, the Tuscan outpost of Frederick II of Swabia.
