Elba Island is the legendary home chosen by the Roman goddess of beauty, Venus. We will explore picturesque fishing villages, rugged coastlines, and dreamlike beaches, guiding you through an unexpected Elba, where the sea reveals itself from panoramic peaks and the air is filled with the scents of myrtle and rosemary.
We will admire medieval villages overlooking the sea. Ancient forts and lighthouses that tell the turbulent story of World War II in this paradise. You’ll learn the tales of fishermen and shepherds, enchanted beaches, and mountains rich with treasures like an ancient chest.
Spectacular views extending from the Mediterranean Sea to Corsica, the Tuscan Archipelago, and the islands of Capraia and Montecristo will capture your imagination. In this setting, the sea is ever-present, welcoming you with its crystal-clear waters for a refreshing swim at the end of the day. The island blends the beauty of the sea with that of the mountains, enchanting and challenging every visitor.

Plan
- Day 1: individual arrival in Marciana Marina.
From the airport, head to the nearest train station and catch a train to Piombino. Then, hop on a ferry and enjoy the mesmerizing emerald-blue Mediterranean Sea during your journey to Portoferraio. Upon arrival at the port, a transfer will be arranged to take you to your lodging in Marciana Marina. - Day 2: selection of walks in Marciana.
You can choose between 2 scenic walks:
Walk A: Marciana to Poggio. 10 kilometres. Elevation gain: +425/-515 meters.
Walk B: Marciana & Madonna del Monte Sanctuary round walk. 15 kilometres. Elevation gain: +800/-800 - Day 3: San Piero in Campo round walk
8 or 10 kilometres. Elevation gain: +365/-365 or +565/-565 meters - Day 4: Marina di Campo round walk via Monte Poro
10 or 13 kilometres. Elevation gain: +345/-345 meters or +375/-375 meters - Day 5: Marina di Campo round walk via Monte Fonza
15 kilometres. Elevation gain: +410/-410 meters - Day 6: Depart from Isola d’Elba. Arrivederci!
