Eroica route in four stages
Cycling tour to discover the famous route of the Eroica, riding through Brunello di Montalcino, Val d'Orcia, Crete Senesi and Chianti region
The Eroica is a unique experience and you can enjoy all year long riding the permanent route. The path is long 209 km in the heart of the Terre di Siena region, through Chianti, Crete Senesi and Val d'Orcia. It’s a journey into the essence of the legendary Tuscan landscape, characterized by challenging and technical segments that make this route a great opportunity to practice cycling.
The route alternates paved and gravel roads and has a total elevation gain of around 3800 meters. Gravel roads cover approximately 112 km on 209 km. The route will be divided into 4 stages long between 45 and 60 km with more than 800 meters of elevation gain each day.
The package can be organized starting from Radda in Chianti or Gaiole in Chianti.
The tour is self-guided. Upon your arrival, you will receive the roadbook, maps and all the information and suggestions to complete the route of L'Eroica.

Ride through Montalcino and Brunello wine route, completing the last segment of the whole permanent of Eroica route Castiglion del Bosco. Accommodation in 3-stars hotel - Day 3: Val d'Orcia and Crete Senesi; 63 km and elevation gain of 1030 meters
Second stage surrounded by the Brunello vineyards and Crete Senesi through Buonconvento and Asciano. Accomodation in Agriturismo. - Day 4: Monte Sante Marie and Chianti; 53 km and elevation gain of 1230 meters
Very challenging gravel road of Monte Sante Marie, sector of the Strade Bianche pro race, that will take you back in the Chianti wine region. Accommodation in 4-stars hotel - Day 5: Gaiole in Chianti and Castello di Brolio; 47 km and elevation gain of 800 meters

Up to 31 days before the start of the trip penalty equal to 25% of the total amount, from 30 to 21 days penalty of 50%. Less than 21 days: penalty equal to 100% of the total amount
