Experience the best of my Florence!
Discover Florence with a private walking tour accompanied by an art historian
Botticelli, Leonardo and Michelangelo are the best-known Renaissance artists, but many other great figures lived and worked in Florence in that period.
Why did so many geniuses head here in the same historical period? Why was Florence the cradle of the Renaissance? Why was it one of the largest and most magnificent cities between the 13th and 15th centuries?
We will answer this and more as we explore the streets of Florence. From the religious center, to the center of political power, we will learn about the Medici family and all the great works of art and monuments they commissioned. Crossing the less crowded parts of the city, we will discover that Florence also played a crucial role in the foundation of the modern banking system.
In the meantime, we will stop and meet some local artisans who have been running their workshops for generations and still make everything by hand.
Join me and enjoy my magical city! You won't regret it.
