Medieval Lucca

You will be guided to discover medieval Lucca, retracing its historic streets and iconic monuments, from the Torre delle Ore to the gates of the medieval walls. 

• Day 1

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Next, you will meet an expert guide to begin an incredible journey to discover the city. You will walk along the walls, which represent a unique reality in the panorama of European architecture and urban planning. Today the walls represent one of the greatest examples of Italian fortification of the Renaissance period. They constitute a large public park of 96 hectares, totally pedestrian, which surrounds and delimits the historic center. At the end of the visit you will have some free time at your disposal and you will have dinner in one of the many typical local restaurants. 

• Day 2

After breakfast, you will continue the tour of medieval Lucca, always in the company of an expert guide. You will visit the main monuments of the city such as the Torre delle Ore, the Cathedral of Lucca and the Church of San Martino.
