In the weeks before Christmas, the village of Montepulciano and the city of Arezzo host two of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Italy.
From the 16 November Montepulciano and Arezzo will host the Santa Claus Village and the Tirolese Village, two events ideal for families and group travel.
The lights illuminate the Renaissance palaces of Piazza Grande in Montepulciano and Arezzo giving an absolutely magical show; the villages warm the atmosphere with a rich proposal of food and wine and crafts. The Christmas markets are an opportunity to visit Tuscany in the winter and appreciate it from a whole different perspective.

Plan
- Day 1
Visit to Arezzo and the Tirolese Village and then walk through the historic centre where you will admire Piazza Grande, the Basilica of San Francesco, the Basilica of San Domenico, the Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art. The day will end with a typical Tuscan cuisine. - Day 2
On Sunday, departure for Montepulciano. Once you arrive in the city of Poliziano, visit a cellar in the historic center where you can taste the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and the Rosso di Montepulciano accompanied by a platter of typical products. You will then have the whole day to visit Santa Claus Village and Santa Claus Castle.
