Montepulciano: wine tasting & lunch in a typical winery

Enjoy an exclusive 1.5-hour wine tasting experience and typical Tuscan lunch in an elegant and ancient wine cellar in Montepulciano. Together with an expert sommelier, discover the cellar’s underground of XVI century characterized by vaults and tunnels made prior to the 1500 and attributed of Etruscan civilization. Learn everything about the history of this amazing place as well as the explanation of the methods and techniques of wine production. Then, take part to an exclusive wine tasting experience combined to delicious local specialties.

A sample of four local wines, such as Rosso di Montepulciano DOCG and Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, will be served with local Tuscan products. A professional sommelier will explain in depth the particularity of those Italian excellencies.

At the end, enjoy a typical tuscan lunch, including a selection of cold cuts & cheeses, first course pasta (examples of main dish, according to seasonality: Lasagna, Cannelloni, Ribollita, Pappa al Pomodoro, ecc.).
