Night hiking to Cala Violina
The wonder of a sunset swim and the forest at night
Exploring a forest at night is a truly extraordinary experience, enveloping you in the maquis' quiet and making you feel an integral part of the surrounding nature.
The route we have designed begins just before sunset. We will reach the famous Cala Violina on an easy panoramic path overlooking the sea where we can take a dip, have a packed dinner and then return when the sun has gone down and the twilight softens the colors of the sea and the shapes of the forest.
The return path, illuminated by the frontal lights, offers a unique spectacle: silence envelops the surrounding maquis while the Gulf and Elba Island lights draw evocative scenarios. This experience will remain indelible and remind us how rewarding it is to immerse ourselves in nature.

- Meeting at 7 pm in Puntone di Scarlino
- Introduction and initial briefing on the excursion
- 8 kilometres walk with a minimal elevation gain
- Arrival at the beach and the possibility of swimming in Cala Violina
- Packed dinner by the hiker
- Return in the dark with headlamps (provided by the guide)
