Discovering the Renaissance castle and bastion with the Natural History Museum of Lunigiana

Located at the confluence of the Magra river and the Aulella torrent, in a dominant position over the historic center of Aulla in Lunigiana, the fortress controlled all the main road arteries and the Apennine passes.

A home whose ancient origins are still shrouded in mystery!

Today, inside the rooms of the castle, the Museum of Natural History of Lunigiana is set up and tells about the naturalistic aspects of the Magra river basin from the valley bottom, hilly, mountain and sub-mountain landscape.
