Tour to discover one of the most evocative and rich corners of the Argentario
Porto Ercole and the Spanish forts is an itinerary of priceless beauty, exploring some of the most historic and picturesque corners of the Argentario.
From Cala Galera we'll admire the striking and imposing Forte Santa Caterina, which rises majestically on the cliffs overlooking the sea. Next, we'll head towards Forte Filippo, a fortified structure with moats and bastions built in honour of King Philip II of Spain.
Passing through Porta Pisana, we'll follow the "Caravaggio route" in the heart of Porto Ercole, among picturesque alleys and staircases, until we reach the Aldobrandesca Fortress dominating the village. We'll then descend towards the sea and enjoy a picnic on the beach with the possibility of swimming at Piletta or Le Viste.
In the afternoon, we'll reach Forte Stella, a completely restored architectural gem, before bidding farewell to Porto Ercole while admiring a wonderful panorama.
The tour will take place on Sunday, June 1, 2025, starting at 9:30 am.

Cancellation
and no-show policies
The guide reserves the right to make changes to the hike to ensure the safety of the group, or to cancel the hike in case of bad weather and/or alertness.
The excursion will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 8 people (25 people maximum)
