Tour of Domus Romana in Lucca

You will discover Lucca’s origins and its evolution throughout 2200 years of history. 

During this visit, a specialized guide will take you on a journey to discover the Domus, an archaeological site in a museum which preserves ruins from the Roman, Lombard, medieval, and Renaissance periods.

The archaeological site - Domus Romana Museum "Casa del Fanciullo sul Delfino" was brought to light in 2012 during renovations in the basement of a historic building in the centre of Lucca. It preserves and presents masonry structures and finds dating back to the second century B.C. and then to Roman, Lombard, Medieval and Renaissance times.
