Trekking at the source of the Rovigo River
Hike with a high naturalistic value in the heart of Mugello among woods, streams, waterfalls and outcrops typical of Tuscany
The Rio Rovigo is a wild valley, one of the most beautiful and untouched in Alto Mugello, a rugged and characteristic morphology that we will discover with this exciting route through forests, waterfalls and torrents.
From Prato all'Albero we will reach the beautiful bivouac of Capanna Marcone, then follow the Pianacci ditch, which through small fords will lead us to the surprising Cascata dell'Abbraccio waterfall.
We will observe the environment's remarkable biodiversity and continue to admire the peculiar rock stratifications towards the Sambuca Pass. We will circumvent Monte Carzolano, following the GEA paths that will lead us to the source of the Rio Rovigo and the Capanna Sicuteri. We will follow the course of the torrent between puddles and natural pools to finish in beauty with a wild swim near the Lastra. From here we will admire the last views and be ready to return to the Colla Pass: an experience not to be missed in the heart of Mugello!

- The guide reserves the right to make changes to the hike to ensure the safety of the group, or to cancel the hike in case of bad weather and/or alertness
- The excursion will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 8 people and a maximum of 25
