Wine and oil tastings in Valdarno di Sopra
At La Salceta, you will be able to taste two red wines, a rosé, and organic extra virgin olive oil accompanied by other local products
In this experience, you will taste the wines of La Salceta, two reds and one rosé, representing Valdarno di Sopra and our agronomic choices that respect the environment, our collaborators, local citizens, and customers. Both our choices are organic and natural.
You will taste Ruschieto, our single-vineyard Sangiovese, La Nocetta, a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Franc, and Osato, the rosé where Cabernet Franc expresses all its value. It will also be an occasion to taste our extra virgin olive oil.
During the tasting, we will discuss around the territory of Valdarno, its origins and history, the Etruscan and Roman routes, Leonardo da Vinci, and the irises growing around us.
You will find La Salceta along the Via dei Setteponti, in the municipality of Loro Ciuffena, between the mountainous Pratomagno and the Chianti hills, in an area recognized as a zone of excellence since 1716 by the decree of Cosimo III de’ Medici.
