La Castagna in Festa

In Arcidosso, La Castagna in Festa (Chestnut in celebration) returns, on October 18-20 and October 25-27.
The theme chosen for this 18th edition is “La gentilezza e il sorriso” (Kindness and Smiles).

It will be two weekends dedicated to the flavors of the mountains, the enhancement of typical products and local food and wine excellence.

Many side events are planned, from the craft market to the re-enactment in costume of ancient crafts, from music to old-fashioned games for adults and children. There will be no shortage of seminars and talks.

All the museums in the historic center will be open, and the Aldobrandesco Castle will open all day.

Wineries in the medieval village will open their doors to offer typical dishes, roasted chestnuts and mulled wine.
In the main street of the village there will be craft markets and food stands, all accompanied by music, jugglers, and entertainment for young and old.
