Three days of food, wine, entertainment and crafts, among the streets of a medieval village and in the name of a distinguished fellow citizen: Boccaccesca, an event in autumn full of flavor and joy.
The event, established in 1999, is held in October in Certaldo, birthplace of Giovanni Boccaccio, and aims to make the territory known through the wine, food and craft excellences, the Slow Food chapters (starting from the onion of Certaldo!) and the typical products in general. An event that, one of the first ones to do so, is focused on cooking, chefs, cooking shows, street food.
The streets of the ancient village of Certaldo are enveloped in flavors and knowledge, tastes and scents, while music resounds within the medieval walls.
