Meetings and insights, workshops for children, aperitifs and spaces for tastings, all linked by a "green thread": the extra virgin olive oil of Calenzano.
The Exhibition market of extra virgin olive oil of Calenzano, dedicated to one of the the most refined and precious resources of the area, returns, over two weekends, on November 9 and 10 and November 16 and 17.
The Exhibition, in its 28th edition, includes a varied program of events that will allow people to learn about a product of the highest quality, but also about the many cultural and social aspects that revolve around olive cultivation.
With the Calenzano Organic District, there will also be aperitifs, organized by the Calenzano Tourist Association, to enhance and publicize the variety and richness of the area's products.
On Sunday, November 17, the mills will be open with guided tours and tastings curated by the farms.
Space for families with workshops, wooden games and courses for children to learn about oil, as well as Sunday openings of the Historical Figurines Museum and the tower in Calenzano Alto.
Finally, as every year, the “I've got it with oil” festival curated by Assieme returns, offering an opportunity to enjoy typical dishes with the new harvest.
Booths will be open over the four days from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the St.Art space on Via Garibaldi.
