9th FrancigenAmica

After last year's success with more than 3,000 participants, FrancigenAmica, the unique event created in 2016 to rediscover the Camaiore section of the Via Francigena and the routes of Camaiore Antiqua among nature, outdoor activities and fun, returns on Sunday, September 22, in the Municipality of Camaiore.

The 9th edition will take place on three scenic routes of 5, 12 and 22 km in a loop, with departure and arrival at the historic center of Camaiore in Piazza XXIX Maggio: here the FrancigenAmica Village will be set up with Info Points, partner stands and tastings of local products.

Once again this year, thousands of pilgrims from all over Italy are expected to come to Tuscany to immerse themselves in this real adventure to discover the historical places and immersed in the greenery of the municipality of Camaiore.

New for 2024: all participants upon returning to the Village will receive the beautiful wooden FrancigenAmica medal.

Fun even for the little ones with lots of surprises! As per tradition, the event will also be open to four-legged friends, who will be able to walk along the trails together with their owners. FranciDog members will have access to the activities offered by the experts of the Friendly Dog cynophile Association.
