An exhibition in Castelfiorentino retraces the artist's most important steps
The exhibition "Banksy. Nascita di un mito" (Banksy. Birth of a Myth) will be set up from June 15 to November 3, at CAMBIO cultural center in Castelfiorentino.
The exhibition traces the most significant stages of the British street artist's career, highlighting the themes, languages, types of urban action and the way he communicates his operations with high ethical value.
An exhibition itinerary that through a hundred works, documents and archival materials, explores the main junctures of the “Banksy Myth”, philologically reconstructing the artist's path from 1998 to 2009. A chain of nocturnal actions, collaborations, exhibitions, editorial objects, silk-screen printings, multiples, videos and words that outline the exhibition reasons behind the birth of a contemporary myth.
