All the flavors of Garfagnana in one big event
A single, big exhibition that brings together all the excellence - food and wine, agricultural, craft, tourist and artistic - of the area, all the flavors of Garfagnana in a single event scheduled for the weekends of November 9 - 10 and 16 - 17 at the tensile structure in Piazzale Chiappini and in the historic center of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana.
Many new features are planned for the 2024 edition.
The number of the participating associations is growing, up to 36, representing nearly all the area, protagonists of a true local street food within the tensile structure, that, starting with the commitment to use local raw materials for the preparation of the different gastronomic proposals - in accordance with the adherence to the Charter of the Community of Food and Agrobiodiversity of Garfagnana - will give visitors the opportunity to taste traditional dishes.
The tourist little train, which will connect the zone of the sports facilities to the center, is confirmed.
Guided tours to discover the Rocca Ariostesca, recently restored, will also be scheduled.
