Parade and Grand Ball between glamour and tradition
The 2025 edition of the Carnival of Florence consists of two moments: the Grand Ball “Queens at the Palace”, to be held on the evening of February 8 at the Salone dei Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio, and the Carnival Parade, scheduled for February 9, from Piazza Santa Maria Novella to Piazza della Signoria.
An exclusive event that combines tradition, elegance and fun in a setting of extraordinary beauty, in the cradle of the Renaissance.
The Grand Ball celebrates the ancient tradition of masked balls, born at the court of Lorenzo de' Medici and typical of the Renaissance. A tribute to Florentine history and glamour will take place in the Salone dei Cinquecento: inspired by Leonardo's “Dream of Flying”, Venetian fashion designer Antonia Sautter will stage her sartorial interpretation of the perfect alchemy between intelligence, kindness, creativity and the strength of women.
During the After Dinner Party, from 10.30 p.m., performances by Stranomondo and DJ set with Remo Giugni and Leandro Da Silva.

On February 9, at 2 p.m., meeting point in Piazza Santa Maria Novella with “Waiting for Carnival”, for the Grand Carnival Parade in Florence's historic center. Free event open to all.
