Aspettando il Tour

Italian and French movies arrive in Piazza Ognissanti in Florence, from June 25 to 29. Aspettando il Tour (Waiting for the Tour) is the free open-air film festival organized on the occasion of the Grand Départ of the Tour de France from the city, on June 29.

The splendid square will be the main setting for the event, transformed into an open-air arena for the occasion. The program includes the screening of five classics of French and Italian cinema on the theme of cycling.

The grand finale will be on the evening of June 29 at the "Apriti Cinema!" movie arena, in Piazzale degli Uffizi.

Not only cinema, but also literature at the Institut Français in Florence: numerous international and local guests will accompany us on this journey with book presentations and shared readings extracted from literary texts and essays on the world of cycling.

Finally, don't miss the photo exhibition "Tour de France. Promise and torment." on the 7 Italian champions who won the Grande Boucle: at the Sant Orsola complex from June 28 to July 21.
