Grey Cat Festival

The Grey Cat Festival presents "Scorri...Bande," a musical event to be held in Piazza Sivieri in Follonica on Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4 2025, starting at 5.30 pm. 

The event will bring the city streets to life with the participation of four street bands, turning the city center into a large open-air stage.

On Saturday, May 3, the Girlesque Streetband, the only Italian marching band made up entirely of female musicians and known for its repertoire combining street sounds, Latin influences and a strong stage presence, and Funk Off, a group recognized for its overwhelming energy, rhythmic power and impressive wind instrument section, will be performing.

On Sunday, May 4, it will be the turn of the Fantomatik Orchestra, a pioneering street funk band, followed by the Magicaboola Brass Band, with a repertoire inspired by contemporary urban sounds, and the Bandão collective, bringing rhythms and atmospheres from Africa, Brazil and the Mediterranean area.

The initiative aims to be an itinerant musical experience, featuring a wide variety of styles and cultures, with the intention of engaging the audience through dynamic and evocative performances.
