The second edition of the “Un quarto di cantine” (A quarter of wineries) event, dedicated to grapes and the opening of wineries, is a preview of the Cantine (Wineries) event that will take place at the end of September.
On May 16,17 and 18 in every corner of the charming village of Giglio Castello it will be possible to taste the food and wine excellence of the island of Giglio, while the evenings will be enlivened by traveling music.
The undisputed protagonist of the festival will be Ansonaco wine, an amber-colored white wine, characterized by high alcohol content and robust body, with a dry and slightly sour taste, whose vinification takes place in purity.
At the wineries of Giglio Castello, guests will have the opportunity to taste typical local dishes, following a sensory path that will guide them through the most evocative places of the village. Each winery will offer the opportunity to taste different dishes.
To conclude each evening, a live music concert in Piazza Gloriosa.
