Lucca Magic Christmas

From November 23 to January 6, the atmosphere of Christmas embraces the city of Lucca with a rich calendar of events.

These are some of the scheduled appointments:

• Christmas markets in the traditional little wooden houses, where you can find Christmas decorations, warm and cozy accessories, tempting and mouth-watering delicacies. Piazza Napoleone is transformed into the most beautiful of traditional markets.  
• A sky of stars and large decorations light up the streets, buildings and churches of the historic center. Follow the trail to find your favorite installation, art or tradition for the best Christmas vacation selfie.
• Nativity scenes and Christmas trees, festively decorated, to be discovered in churches and palaces in the historic center. Traditional and creative and contemporary nativity scenes set up in places that are always full of charm.
• Lots of atmospheric music that can't be missed in the hometown of so many great musicians. Traditions to be experienced and remembered with the New Year's Greetings concerts and New Year's Eve parties in the square and New Year's Eve in the theater.
• The Christmas Factory for the most important event of the year for young and old alike. A courtyard in the historic center will be transformed into Santa's Village, where you can stop to play games, listen to music, and participate in the festivity and warmth of the end-of-year days.
• IcePark, the skating ice rink, which this year is on the Walls of Lucca overlooking the historic center. A truly “magical” place to spend an afternoon with family or friends or a romantic evening.
• Storie&Tesori with Lucca tour guides waiting for you for amazing and surprising guided tours of the festively dressed city.
• Circus Atmosphere, the winter vacation classic, made even cozier because acrobats, clowns and artists will perform interacting with animals in hologram form.
