Paths of Hope

On Christmas night, Pope Francis will open the Holy Door in San Pietro, thus opening the “Pilgrims of Hope” Jubilee, which will close in December 2025.Throughout the Jubilee period at the Diocesan Museum in Massa it is possible to admire the “Paths of Hope” exhibition.

The exhibition guides visitors to discover the treasures of sacred art related to the experience of pilgrimage in all its forms, from the more classical pilgrimage to Rome to those more intimate and personal or characteristic of local communities such as processions.

In addition, the path of the exhibition is also marked by various artistic testimonies of the object that will be at the center of the opening celebration of the Jubilee: the cross. 
A section of the exhibition will be the subject of in-depth activities, including with local schools, in collaboration with the diocese's Migrantes Office, presenting testimonies of immigrant people who have undertaken journeys.

The exhibition, which opened on Sunday, December 8, will remain open until December 13, 2025, with the following opening hours:

• Thursday and Sunday, from 2.30 to 6.30 p.m.
• Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• closed on December 26
