In Massa Marittima, the 37th edition is dedicated to Giacomo Puccini

Now in its 37th year, "Lirica in Piazza" (Opera in the Square) celebrates this year the centenary of Giacomo Puccini's death (1924-2024) with a performance of two of his most beloved operas. Appointment in Massa Marittima on August 3, 4 and 5 to commemorate the life and work of one of the most distinguished Italian composers in history.

"Lirica in Piazza" is an event awaited not only by lovers of the genre, but also by those who wish to experience the unique emotion that Piazza Garibaldi conveys, amplified by the sound of exceptional orchestras and artists. An experience that combines the magic of opera with the beauty of one of the most evocative places in Maremma.
