Montecatini Terme World Heritage Site

On Friday, July 26, Montecatini Terme will celebrate the third anniversary of the city's entry on the UNESCO World Heritage list as one of Europe's thermal resorts in the network The Great Spa Towns of Europe.

To mark the occasion, free guided tours in Italian and English will be organized from July 21 to 28 to discover the history of the spa town and the famous people who frequented it. It will be the occasion to admire the Municipal Palace, with the decorations by Galileo Chini, and the Tettuccio Terme, with a tour to the thermal establishment, the fountain of Tofanari, the Portoghesi Hall, the counters, the Orchestra Pavilion and the Historical Cafè.

1st round
4:30 p.m.: departure from info point in Piazza del Popolo
4:45 p.m.: Municipal Palace, Viale Verdi
5 p.m.: Terme Tettuccio, Piazzale Giusti

2nd round
6 p.m.: departure from info point in Piazza del Popolo
6:15 p.m.: Municipal Palace, Viale Verdi
6:30 p.m.: Terme Tettuccio, Piazzale Giusti

Guaranteed departure, free participation (there is a €4 fee for admission to Tettuccio Thermal Baths).

The celebrations will continue in Piazza del Popolo, at 10 p.m., with UNESCO in music, concert by Ottoni Fiorentini, with members of Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, under direction of Maestro Fabiano Fiorenzani.
