The 10ᵗʰ edition with 18 events, starting on Palm Sunday

The 10ᵗʰ edition of the Festival di Pasqua (Easter Festival) in Montepulciano is scheduled from April 13 to May 17, commencing its rich program on Palm Sunday with an impressive preview concert in the Tempio di San Biagio with Mozart’s marvelous Requiem in D Minor, performed by four young soloists from the Accademia Internazionale d’Arte Lirica in Osimo, the Marche Youth Choir and FORM (Marche Philharmonic Orchestra) under the baton of Maestro Luigi Piovano, this year’s artist-in-residence at the Festival who will also lead two other chamber music concerts.

The Festival continues in the following three weeks, involving authoritative Italian and international musicians, as well as prestigious cultural institutions, with concerts and initiatives that will be rendered even more evocative by the venues in which they will be held. In addition to the Tempio di San Biagio there is Palazzo Contucci, the Church of Gesù, the Crociani Civic Museum and Art Gallery, the Fortezza, Palazzo Ricci and even the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta in Pienza.

The 2025 edition of the Easter Festival will conclude on Sunday, May 17, when American violinist Cheri Kelley will give a concert in the Church of San Biagio with her precious violin, created by Giovanni Battista Ceruti around 1810.

The full program can be found on the event website.
