The concert celebrating the group's three decades of music and nearly 1,000 shared stages

As part of the event Spazi Aperti 2024 - Teatri di Pistoia, July 2 sees the arrival of Aires Tango, a group born in 1994 from an idea of Javier Girotto who was inspired by his own musical roots to merge them with the typical modes of expression of jazz, creating a new musical terrain. Making explicit reference to the music of the great Astor Piazzolla, Javier Girotto & Aires Tango arrive at a repertoire of original music that is progressively evolving, both in terms of creative impetus and continuous turnover of musical material.

Javier Girotto & Aires Tango are celebrating three decades of music, or nearly 1,000 stages shared between festivals and shows around the world. For this anniversary they have just recorded their 13th record entitled "30".

That of Javier Girotto & Aires Tango is music that is at times fun, at times dramatic, even poignant, descriptive and committed, where each of the four musicians is valuable soloist. The result is a sound that passes through dynamics full of unexpected turns, from almost shouted moments and sudden subdued whispers.
