From magic to Christmas lights to cultural moments to share, the holiday period offers many reasons to discover and live Pistoia in all its beauty.

  Traveling entertainment with street performers, games and concerts 
  (in cooperation with Associazione BluesIn)

  Christmas Market
• Sunday, December 15, from 9 a.m.
  Open day of Palazzo Comunale with Scatti a palazzo
  (in cooperation with the Musical High School Forteguerri and School of Music and Dance Mabellini; free entrance)
• every weekend
  Frescoed rooms of Palazzo Comunale
  The magic world of Santa Claus
  A journey through arctic landscapes and snowy forests, with the chance to ride Santa's magic sleigh and end up in the elves' post office. 
  (€ 1 discount on the ticket by presenting the map of Pistoia City of Christmas at the entrance)
• Wednesday, January 1, from 2.30 p.m.
  Piazza Duomo
  Children's New Year's Eve with Pompieropoli
• Monday, January 6, at 4 p.m.
  The firefighters' befana with the traditional descent from the Bell Tower
  (by Associazione Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco del Corpo Nazionale Onlus Pistoia and the Municipality of Pistoia)

The Civic Museum of Pistoia will be open from Tuesday to Friday, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.; Saturday, Sunday, holidays (December 8 and 26, January 6) and December 27, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Christmas and New Year's Day, 4 - 7 p.m. On weekends and holidays free entrance.
