In Pitigliano more than 50 machine models by Leonardo da Vinci accurately reproduced

All the Genius of Leonardo da Vinci in a unique exhibition with more than 50 models of machines faithfully reproduced following the Codices, thanks to the study and work of the Florentine craftsmen of the Niccolai family. 

This is the event exhibition "Leonardo in Fortezza" in Pitigliano, in the premises of the Ex Granai (former granary), from June 20 to September 30.

On display are some of the most famous inventions of the Florentine genius: the ancestor of the helicopter one of his most famous designs; the glider; the parachute; the self-propelled cart to be used as a stage apparatus, considered the ancestor of the automobile; the steam rotisserie, a cooking machine that bordered on cooking perfection; the study of gears; the device to repel enemy ladders in defense of the walls; the Archimedes screw, the demonstration of the impossibility of perpetual motion; and much more.
