Celebration of the Madonna of Vitaleta

On the first weekend of September, San Quirico celebrates Our Lady of Vitaleta in a popular festival that blends religion and tradition. The religious celebrations are accompanied by side events and performances in the square.

These are some of the scheduled events:

• Saturday, September 6 
  The evening "Tutti in piazza" (Everyone in the square)
  with dinner of traditional Tuscan dishes, games and disco.
• Sunday, September 7 
  Solemn Holy Mass, traditional concert by the San Quirico d'Orcia Philharmonic, and closing of the festivities with a show by street performers.
• Monday, September 8 
  For the entire day, the historic center of San Quirico will be enlivened by the goods market
  Stands and stalls will alternate with a wide range of products of all kinds, from clothing and accessories to home accessories and food and wine, in a true trade fair-market.
