The 2024 public openings of the archaeological site in Sesto Fiorentino

The Etruscan Tomb of Montagnola, in Sesto Fiorentino, is one of the greatest examples of noble burial in the middle course of the Arno.

During 2024, the archaeological site will be open to the public on the first and third weekends of March, April, May, June, July, and then again in September, October and November.

The calendar for March and April:

  • Saturday, March 2 and Sunday 3, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 16 and Sunday 17, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 6 and Sunday 7, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 20 and Sunday 21, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

In addition to regular openings, extraordinary openings will also be guaranteed at the request of educational institutions and organized groups, and on the occasion of any initiatives promoted by local, regional or national institutions.
